Pistons working toward deal with Bynum

Detroit Pistons restricted free agent guard Will Bynum (notes) had some career numbers last season: 10 points, 4.5 assists, and 26.4 minutes per game. So the 27-year-old wants to be making more than the $825,000 he was paid last season. After all, other backup point guards have signed for around $4 million per season this offseason.
